Cafe Baekchon-ri, which started in a rural village in Goseong, is now available at Sokcho Jungang Market. We specialize in gelato and Apple Mango Bingsu (shaved ice) made in-house with Serin Farm goat milk, Beomsan Farm organic milk, and seasonal fresh fruits. Instead of condensed milk, we use a handmade bingsu base and prepare everything honestly every day using only high-quality, additive-free ingredients.

Our story
Starting as a countryside cafe in Goseong, Cafe Baekchon now welcomes you at Sokcho Central Market. We craft our gelato in-house using Serin Farm goat milk, Bumsan Farm organic milk, and carefully selected seasonal fresh fruits. Instead of condensed milk or artificial syrups, we insist on using our homemade shaved ice base to highlight the natural, healthy flavors of our ingredients. Bingsu (shaved ice) topped with generous amounts of Jeju apple mango and Peruvian fresh apple mango Gelato made with premium ingredients like Hongcheon pine nuts, domestic black sesame, and Madagascar vanilla beans Sorbet made with fresh fruits such as Jeju lemons and Gochang passion fruit Our desserts are honestly made without artificial additives, making them safe and enjoyable for everyone. We are located on the 1st floor of the Sokcho Central Market Hanaro Mart building, right of the entrance and behind Hwangbuja Fried Snacks.
